“Right on, Rosy!”
Chapter 1:
Dawn! *curtain drops*
It’s dawn over the Smokey Mountains of Pink Planet. “Right on, Rosy!” The voices call over the Rockies (the one, with the eyes) and right on, she did!
Rosy could see the “Rose Chrome Barn” from where she stood, “I stand steady in the ground, at 5 feet and 3 inches but I feel 10 feel below,” she thought.
Right on, Rosy! She did, and she was.
The “Rose Chrome Barn” also known as “four walls and two sticks to a call a home (for the lovers who hadn’t met one another)” projected grimly (& dimly) lit, the (new) “Lovesick Country Horror Movie” of which our dear Rosy, was the star.
The film was to be a smash hit amongst the downtrodden (& broken hearted).
She wouldn’t go to the film, as herself, but she would go. Even if just to fall in love with someone who’d fall in love with someone else, she or her, who put her heart on a shelf.
“Oh vrai bleu… comment je t’aime,” and the movie would end, putting our fair Rosy right back where she belong, or as she believed so, in the spotlight. As the torches were lit up in “True Blue” so the drunk lovers could dance, Rosy found herself in quite a trance, wondering what to do if it’s all just a test?
*Beside herself, Rosy looks out, sighs, and the curtain falls*
Chapter 2:
Dusk! At a loss for words, at a loss for herself, Rosy ventures towards the mountains. The heat rose high, but in close quarters around Rosy, easing her into a seemingly restful sleep. She surely believed herself to be conscious. The last Rosy could recall were all the stars in the sky forming about her head.
Queue: Brother Brian! Brian passes by but never stays long, flies to the sky but bears down real low. Brian warns of the comforts of this life: “hands held are waiting to be let go, love leaves and you and only you can protect your heart.” Should Rosy follow Brian, if not to just lose herself anyway?
Queue: Prairie Wife! Life in the limelight isn’t quite what it seems, no? “A simple life awaits, leave it all behind, Rosy.” Will it be, Rosy on the Prairie? In the valley? Oh, what a shame.
Queue: Poor Joe! He’s meek, weak and inconclusive. Everything he gets his hands on he loses, though forever they remain on his mind. Ignorance is bliss when it’s everything you miss. Should Rosy forget it all, let it go and settle down with Poor Joe?
Well,
In a cool sweat, Rosy takes out a map and looks towards the baby blue portion. Upon cross referencing her nap with its key, Rosy points towards the sea.
Baby’s going to sea, so long Rosy!
“Bye Bye Hunny!” Rosy winks, waves and walks off.
